LIXBOX Lead Singer, Guitarist - Brad Falch, has been singing his whole life. Brad grew up in South Austin, and he picked up a guitar at a very early age and began performing live with various bands. Brad is dedicated to providing impassioned vocals His powerful voice, extended range, and audience persona is outstanding and makes him well suited as the band’s lead singer and front man. Brad has performed with Mike Kling and Clyde Browning for at least nine years. There is a chemistry that you see on and off the stage with these guy's. Like musical brothers. Brad loves to entertain and has some pretty good ups.
Bassist - Clyde Browning, hails from Dallas, Texas. He formerly played the Austin music scene for 10 years. Clyde did a recent four year gig overseas in Europe, playing the local scene in southern France. Yes he speaks French now, but failed to learn how to play the accordion. Clyde's musical roots are in the great city of Austin where LIXBOX let's him express his artistic rhythms and passion to entertain. Clyde can crank out the jams on the six string as well and LIXBOX provides him the outlet to do just that. Very multi talented musician.
Drummer - Mike Kling, grew up in Beaumont, TX and that is what gave Mike a taste of New Orleans style funk and Zydeco. He tells us, “I love a good solid pull-em-out on the dance floor, funky, rhythmic beats with accents of cymbals and toms. Mike like to create a swirling, pulsing, feel he says that will just suck you onto the dance floor like a strong Texas Gulf undertow. Mike's technique supports and drives the song and LIXBOX greatest asset is his genius sense of touch. He is the foundation and the founder of this band. His musical knowledge and technical expertise keeps the group on the cutting edge with new ideas. Chat with him sometime and you will see.
Lead Guitarist - Larry Schmidt,
born in El Paso, Texas. He had his first guitar at age 12 and was
performing in groups by age 15. Larry has entertained people through out the
southwest. Hooked with Mike K. in the summer of 2006. They discovered they both loved the same style of music.
You know that bluesy Texas rock and roll that when you close your eyes
and play you can feel it
all the way down to your soul. His incredible lead techniques have fans
coming back for more, are he is a perfect
fit for the homegrown sound of LIXBOX. Just ask the band to play a
little Voodoo Chile (Child). Hearing is believing.
Seeing is even better. Talented musicianship, professional equipment, and a passion to entertain make LIXBOX the perfect live music entertainment choice for your private party or any event in any venue, large or small. LET US ENTERTAIN YOU!
